
Marc Brailov
Marc has an extensive track record — 20+ years — of noteworthy success in all dimensions of global PR, corporate communications, media relations and marketing, working for organizations for both Fortune businesses (i.e., Deloitte, General Motors, MCI and Ameritech) and very small startups. He has distinguished himself as an innovative thinker, a results-focused strategic leader, a good mentor, and a hands-on practitioner of the public relations craft.
Marc’s experience in the healthcare sector began during 2001-2004, when he worked for software company MicroStrategy and promoted to the media the company’s software applications among its several health sector customers — including the U.S. Department of HHS, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Premier Health and leading dental supply company Henry Schein. From 2012-2014, as a part of his regular duties as Vice President of Public Policy and Communication for nonprofit real estate lender IFF, he assessed the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and publicly promoted IFF’s investments in healthy food establishments.
Since 2014, through his freelance business, Marc has served multiple healthcare clients For example, on behalf of mental health services organization Mindful Urgent Care’s new COVID initiative, in 2020, he secured a feature story on WABC-TV, the most watched TV station in the U.S., and a writeup in Modern Healthcare magazine. He also obtained introductory interviews with The New York Times and Bloomberg about the organization’s overall mission. Consistent with the international scope of his work, Marc also worked in 2020 and 2021 with Brazil-based and Latin America-focused health tech startup MedPass – for which he has generated strong media coverage in the Latin American market. Other healthcare clients have included a major health services consulting firm and a dermatological services startup.
